Oli has been playing music for nearly 30 years, and performed his first live gig aged 11. Since those early days, he has gone on to become a prolific guitarist, performer, composer and teacher.
Based in his South London studio, he now shares his professional life between performing, composing original music and teaching guitar to students of all abilities.
Oli has a passion for all forms of music, particularly rock, blues and jazz. He holds a 1st class degree (BMus) in Music Performance from the prestigious BIMM Institute, where he specialised in jazz and music education. He is a registered member of The Registry of Guitar Tutors (RGT), which can be found at www.rgt.org.
Oli can be heard playing lead guitar in 50s band Betty & The Bootleggers (https://www.bettyandthebootleggers.co.uk/). Oli is also the former vocalist and guitarist in euphoric rock band Eureka Station, as well as roots rock n roll band The Reelers.
Oli is also the owner of Tone Hound Studios, a high quality rehearsal studio under Clapham Junction Station, South West London (https://www.tonehoundstudios.co.uk/).
